WESTWOOD FARM SCHOOL AUTUMN FAYRE

PW proudly sponsor the Autumn Fayre at Westwood Farm School which took place a couple of weekends ago on Saturday 15^th October.  This is a fantastic annual event for the school, which helps the PTA raise much-needed funds for school equipment, days out and treats for the children.

The fayre this year was a great success and much fun was had by all who attended.  The weather was warm and sunny, which always makes it more enjoyable.  Owen’s Animals were a particularly popular attraction and the superb Grand Raffle Prizes of an iPad Mini, £100 Amazon vouchers and £50 Argos vouchers meant that a large number of raffle tickets were sold.

Overall, the day made over £4,000 for the school, and a massive thank you is due to the tireless PTA and all the wonderful people who helped out on the day as well as all those who came on the day and bought tickets and goodies from the stalls.

This amazing sum of money will go towards all the children in the Junior School attending a History in Action day at Ufton Court, some furniture for the library and hopefully some desperately needed IT equipment from which all the children can benefit.
