Emily, who works in our Pangbourne office is running the Reading Half Marathon this Sunday.  After many months of training, she is looking to put her best foot forward in aid of The Ark Community Project, a Reading-based charity which helps the homeless and vulnerable of our town.  The Ark Project have a double decker bus, called Lenny, which has been converted to offer sleeping pods for up to 10 people, and is parked at different locations in the town for easy access to those who need it.  It doubles up as a resource centre during the day offering advice to those who are affected by homelessness, addiction issues and other problems such as abuse or bullying.  A really worthwhile local charity that is doing much to help desperate and vulnerable people on our doorstep.
